Pickify does not collect or transmit the names, lists, results, settings, or game progress you use in the app. There is no Pickify server, analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party SDK. Gameplay happens on your device. StoreKit communicates with Apple only to start the free trial and to provide and verify the one-time unlock, and you can choose to leave the app through clearly labelled external links.
Pickify (“the app”) is developed by IVAN CAYABYAB (“we”, “us”).
For any question about this policy or your privacy, contact us at ivnsjdev@gmail.com.
Pickify is a randomizer: a wheel, dice, cards, and other ways to pick a name or settle a decision. The information you enter is stored on your device using iOS’s standard app preferences storage. We never receive it.
| What Pickify stores | Primary storage | Sent automatically to us? |
|---|---|---|
| Names, options, and favourite lists | On your device | No |
| Team Shuffle member names and strength weights | On your device | No |
| Home-screen mode order and Quick Generator number range | On your device | No |
| Equipped and unlocked skins, celebrations, and win sounds | On your device | No |
| Mystery Box totals and prize progress | On your device | No |
| Language, appearance, animation, confetti, and haptic preferences | On your device | No |
| Any other per-mode game setting or switch you change | On your device | No |
The app does not transmit any of this information to us or to another company. We do not collect, sell, rent, or share it. The StoreKit requests and external links described below do not include your lists, results, settings, or prize progress. Device backups are controlled by the operating system, not initiated by Pickify.
Pickify has no user accounts and there is nothing to register for. It does not ask for an email address, phone number, date of birth, or any other account identity. Names you choose to type into randomizer lists or Team Shuffle remain local app data. Pickify does not use iCloud, CloudKit, or any other app-level sync service, so it does not sync your lists between devices. Your operating-system device backup may include Pickify’s local app data if you have chosen to back up the app.
The list of recent results shown inside a mode is held in memory for the current session only. It is deliberately never written to storage, and it is gone when you close the app.
The finger-picker mode reads where fingers are touching the screen so it can choose one of them. Those touch positions are used on the spot to pick a winner and are discarded immediately. They are not recorded, not stored, and not transmitted. Pickify does not use the camera, and does not read your address book — the “contacts” in this mode means points of contact with the glass.
Pickify requests no system permissions whatsoever. It does not access your camera, photo library, microphone, location, contacts, calendar, health data, motion data, or notifications, and no permission prompt will ever appear.
Sounds are generated by the app on your device and played through the standard iOS audio system. Vibration feedback uses Apple’s haptics. Neither reads anything from your device or sends anything from it.
Pickify is free to download and includes a 3-day free trial that you start yourself, by tapping Start 3-Day Free Trial on the app’s unlock screen. The trial is a free item on the App Store: it costs nothing, nothing is charged for it, and it is not a subscription trial. When the three days are up, a single one-time in-app purchase unlocks the app permanently. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and nothing inside the app costs extra afterwards. Both the trial and the unlock are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store, and each one leaves a record on your Apple Account that Apple keeps. StoreKit communicates with Apple to retrieve the unlock’s storefront price, check whether the current Apple Account already holds the trial or the unlock, read the date the trial was started so the three days can be counted, and complete or restore a purchase. We never receive your Apple Account credentials, payment details, card number, or billing address, and we do not operate a purchase server. The StoreKit answers are used on the device to decide whether Pickify is unlocked and are not sent to us. Nothing renews and nothing is charged automatically. Apple’s processing is covered by its App Store & Privacy notice. Purchases are governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, and use of the app itself by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.
If you email us for support, we receive your email address, your message, and any device, app-version, screenshot, or other information you choose to include. We use it only to respond, investigate the issue, and improve Pickify. Do not send information that is not needed for your request.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we handle support mail on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us and in fixing the problems they report. There is no other processing to find a basis for, because Pickify sends us nothing on its own.
Support email is optional and happens outside Pickify. It is processed by your email provider and by Google, which hosts our support mailbox, under the Google Privacy Policy. Google’s mail servers are located in the United States, so a support message you send us is processed there. We keep support messages for up to 24 months, and longer only where a legal, security, or record-keeping obligation requires it. You may ask us to delete your support correspondence by emailing the address below.
Pickify can open its privacy policy, Apple’s terms, and the App Store review page when you tap the corresponding button. The support page also links to Apple’s refund service. Those destinations handle your visit under their own privacy policies. Pickify does not add your lists, results, or a Pickify user identifier to those links.
Pickify awards boxes through play, which open to reveal a skin, a celebration, or a win sound. Boxes cannot be bought, no currency of any kind exists in the app, and nothing can be lost. Which prize you receive and how close you are to the next one is recorded on your device only.
To be explicit, Pickify does not:
Pickify’s App Store privacy label reflects this: Data Not Collected.
To delete Pickify’s local data: delete the app from your device. This removes its lists, preferences, local game progress, and unlocked prizes from that device. Pickify itself keeps no server copy. iCloud or computer device backups are controlled separately by you and Apple and may still contain app data; Apple explains how to manage iCloud backups.
Support emails are separate from app data. You may request deletion of support correspondence as described above, subject to any information we must retain for legal, security, or record-keeping reasons.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or similar laws — including the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
For information created inside Pickify, you exercise these rights directly: the data is stored in the app’s local container and we hold no copy that we can produce, amend, or erase on your behalf. For support correspondence that you sent us, contact us to request access, correction, or deletion. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, and we have never done so.
If you believe we have not met our obligations, you may contact us at the address above, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Pickify is rated 4+ and is designed to be family-friendly. It is a general-audience app rather than one directed at children, and it works equally well with a group of any age. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in their country). It does not transmit the names or other text entered into its games. There is no chat, sharing, social feature, or advertising through which a child could be reached. A parent or guardian should send any support email on a child’s behalf.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
